Description

Nick, 23, would be one of 24 competitors in a World Games event in Japan; then he and A J, a Heretaunga College fifth-former, would represent New Zealand at the world in-line championships in France. A different colour image, showing the pair head-on, was printed in the Upper Hutt Leader on 18/7/2001. Nick was also pictured in the July 19, 2000 'Leader', practising for the world championships to be held in Colombia; another skater may have been cropped out.
