Shows two large MPs dining on two very large portions of cake labelled 'MP's pay' and saying "But there's no wafer on top!' and "Yes, where's my wafer?" in the background John Key and Bill English are dressed as waiters, and Key holds a plate with a small wafer, stating "I will be dishing up the tiny little thin wafer later, to the nurses, teachers & police". Refers to government spending cuts with MPs passing a law to lower their controversial pay rises. The cartoonist parodies a famous Monty Python sketch of Mr Creosote, in which he eats 'one more wafer-thin mint'.
