Part of the 4th Battalion and the mules of the 26 Indian Mounted Battery landing at 8am on 25 April 1915. One the beach lies the body of an Australian engineer. The photograph was taken by Lance-Corporal A.R.H.Joyner, of the 1st Divisional Signal Company, who was killed on 4 December 1916 in France. It comes from a published volume, which was...
