Scenes from the Coronation hui at Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia, taken in 1962 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified. Images show a group of elders, sitting and listening to speeches. Also shows a kuia standing amongst a crowd. At a later date the partial names of the group of elders were identified by an attendee at the hui. The list reads "- Hemi, Paraire - - Jiaki Hira, Mihaka, matiki Te Koi."
