Description

Shows a group of children at Papawai marae, standing in front of a tekoteko which is being stood up in the ground again. A ladder is alongside the tekoteko. Photograph is annotated "Moko, Rakai Manihera, Little Mahi, Ruhia [Ruiha] Randell, and Carlos (doing a haka). One of the figures [tekoteko] has just been stood up. Ruhia was my friend." Moko, Mahe and Carlos have been identified as the children of Don Baker and Diana Gillies from Papawai.
