In this thesis I investigated the mutualism between Kunzea ericoides (kanuka) and two groups of soil fungi, ectomycorrhizae (ECM) and arbuscular mycorrhizae (AMF). Mycorrhizal mutualisms, which are considered globally ubiquitous, are poorly understood over changing abiotic gradients.
