Description

Looks at the adoption of building information modelling (BIM), the use of 3D digital models of buildings to share information between contractors and stakeholders on construction projects. Describes how this shared platform allows for augmented reality perspectives, pre-manufacturing of parts of the building in the factory, time and money savings, support for scenario planning, and management of refurbishment projects.
