The Order of St Michael and St George was founded in 1818 by the prince regent, later George IV. The decoration is awarded to men and women who contribute extraordinary services to a foreign country. The motto of the order is “Auspicium melioris ævi” which translates to “token for a better age.”   Michael Myers   Sir Michael Myers was a prominent lawyer in the first half of the twentieth century.
