Description

Flyer congratulating "New Zealand boys" on the capture of Faenza (on 14 December 1944) but pointing out the slow progress being made by the Allies fighting in Italy. It also complains of the shooting of 12 unarmed German prisoners near Faenza, and expresses the German resolve to fight to the last drop of blood. It reports the desertion of Indian troops before German fire, and invites New Zealanders to be prisoners "in a nice quiet camp far from the battle area". This is an example of a flier...
