Images showing scenes from the official unveiling of the 28th Maori Battalion National War Memorial Community Centre, in Palmerston North, which was designed by architect John Scott. Photographs taken on 27 June 1964 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified. Frames 2-8 show scenes of dedication by Bishop Panapa. Frames 6 onwards show Sir Eruera Tirikatene wearing a korowai (cloak). Frame 12, shows him with Sir Bernard Ferguson
