Iriba. Fan. This is a hand held fan. It is flat in form and teardrop in shape. A slim cylindrical handle starts from the centre of the teardrop area of the iriba and extends outwards. Two main material components feature on the iriba: black dyed kiaiai baste (hibiscus; hibiscus tiliaceus) and a natural tan coloured kakoko (the white, young leaf of the coconut)
