Description

This picnic was held on the bank of the Manawatu River near Kemp's Lagoon on the farm of Mr Bill Jackson, who was a member of the school committee. Identified are: Jean Akers (daughter of Hugh Akers) - sitting in foreground in dress with collar. Mr Harry Sames, third from left in back row, wearing a black suit. Mrs George Allwright, far left in back row.
