Description

This picture shows the "scarf" being cut in the trunk of the tree by an axeman, while the two men at the rear operate a cross-cut saw. The donor stated that these men (all unidentified) were employed at Climo and Eggers' Sawmill at Waituna West. The sawmill was owned by Jim Climo, with another Climo perhaps, and Charlie Eggers.
