The collection has two pictures; the one printed on December 8, 2004 seemed to be less well focused than this one. He had come from England with his wife Margaret in 1969, and settled in Upper Hutt in 1970; started at the college in 1974 as an assistant maths teacher. After taking a year off in 1977 to complete a degree, he had returned as head of the maths department, and had been there ever since.
