‘Upper Hutt: The History’ is the standard written history of Upper Hutt. Its author, Jack Kelleher, was a Wellington-based journalist who worked in the Upper Hutt area at two different times. The first was as editor of the 'Upper Hutt Times' newspaper (1949-1951).
