- Description
Thousands of godwits flew low, and high over Ambury Regional Park looking for somewhere to roost at high tide. They circled the nearby bird reserves on Kiwi Esplanade, but there were 1000's of SIPOs already there, and lots of human activity. A few knots were flying with the godwits.
