William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket (1864-1920) was a British diplomat and administrator. He served as Governor of New Zealand from 1904-1910. Lord Plunket succeeded Earl Ranfurly, arriving in Wellington on 20 June 1904. Lord Plunket’s wife, Lady Victoria Plunket, was the Plunket Society’s first patron and and gave the organisation its name...
