A black and white photograph of the earliest Mataura Scout Troop, 1937. This was the second incarnation of the club, initiated by Noel Pauling, as the first (formed c.1930) lasted only until 1932. There were approximately 60 boys in the troop. Adults (left to right): Thompson, H.G. Pauling, Noel (captain) Pay, J.W.
