- Description
A portrait of Sergeant Cecil Hillier Green, who was the only son of Mrs. Green, Colombo Street, Christchurch. He was educated at Christ's College, and subsequently entered Canterbury Agricultural College in 1915. He enlisted in the Expeditionary Force as soon as he was of age, and left for the Front with the 28th Reinforcements. He was killed in action.
