Printed in the ‘Leader’ on June 4, 1997. In retrospect, and narrowing Logan Street and realigning it eastward, further out of line with the northern part looks odd. At this stage (September 2106) I do not remember any of these changes occurring; an avenue of Japanese cedars in Queen Street was also proposed and pictured, but it did not happen. The Mall extended to the southern end of Logan Street in 2004, and all the way to Queen Street, with The Warehouse moving to a new first-floor structu...
