Recorded without sound. Footage of the Otago Harbour Board tug 'Otago' from about 1962, some time after the vessel was repainted in blue and gold colours. The tug was built by Lobnitz & Co., Scotland, and delivered in 1956. At the beginning and end of the film it is shown in Dunedin's Steamer Basin. From the George Thorn collection of slides, cine film and equipment, ref: Hocken Photographs P1994-006/1-119. Our thanks to Maurice Hayward of the Film Heritage Trust for digitising this film
