Description

He was managing director of King Nissan and the Auto Point group of companies, and had succeeded the mayor, Rex Kirton. A greyscale image was printed in the August 14 1984 'Leader'. The article spelled his name Brian; he Bryan spelling comes from a (genuine?)signature in a January 1990 advertisement. The council had started in mid-1983;the report followed its first annual meeting. He was still (or again?) president in September 1987.
