Description

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the gravedigger's cottage at the Symonds Street cemetery, with a horse and cart in the foreground. The Anglican Mortuary Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre was opened by Bishop Selwyn on Symonds Street, opposite East Street, in 1865; it was moved to Grange Road in Mount Eden in 1904.
