The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT) is widely used to evaluate processing speed and executive function in patients with multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and other neuropsychiatric disorders. In the PASAT, subjects listen to sequences of digits while continuously reporting the sum of the last two digits presented.
