Description

These Laurie Foon shorts and accessories are made from fabric that reproduces a work by post-war textile artist Avis Higgs. Avis' 'Duckpond' design, inspired by a visit to Wellington Zoo, was renamed 'Black Swan' by designers Laurie Foon and Carleen Schollum for the 2005/06 summer collection. Laurie Foon opened Starfish Boutique in Wellington's Willis Street in 1993. She introduced her Laurie Foon label in 2003, which she sold alongside the established Starfish range.
