Printed in a December 2, 1964 full-page 'Leader' advertisement. The Lions Club would be holding a Citizens Appeal on Saturday, Deecember 5. six other sponsors were listed at the bottom of the page. When the Station Street corner was wanted as part of Woolworths' car park, the club commissioned an architect to design a 9000-square-foot two-stortey building, with the upper floor to be rented out as a source of income.
