Description

The Norwegian tanker Osthav (8417 tons) photographed after being berthed at Burnham wharf, Evans Bay, after her arrival from Singapore with Cargo of Motor Spirit. The tug Toia can be seen leaving the tanker after assisting in the berthing operations. The Osthav was built at Hamburg in 1931 and when loaded is capable of a speed of 13 knots and could carry 11,500 tons of motor spirit.
