Description

Lieutenant A.G. Mackenzie-Kennedy inspecting the Royal Stuart tartan worn by pipers of the 1st Battalion, Royal Scots when the regiment paraded in the new tartan at the Aldershot for the first time. The privilege of wearing the tartan was conferred on the regiment by his Majesty the King.
