Auckland Trotting Club's successful summer meeting: interesting racing attracts large attendances to Alexandra Park. UPPER LEFT: Willow Wave winning the Auckland Trotting Cup from the favourite, King's Warrior. Willow Wave also won the Champion Handicap, the chief race on the second day. UPPER RIGHT: Lawn Derby (rails), defeating Lucky Jack to win the President's Handicap. LOWER: The field in the Park Handicap on the second time round - a fine impression of a large field raising a cloud of dust
