Description

The great hull of the new Cunard-White Star liner Queen Elizabeth, towering high on the stocks at the yard of John Brown and Company, Clydebank, Scotland. The ship was to be launched by the Queen on Tuesday, 27 September 1938. A battleship (E.10) is moored next to the ship.
