The new administration block, the erection of which was due largely to the benevolence of Mr. Samuel Saltzman, opened by the Hon. Peter Fraser, Minister of Health, with a large number of visitors from Central Otago and Dunedin. Upper: Nurses and matrons standing outside on the concrete balcony of the new building, listening to speeches from officials below. Spectators are standing nearby to hear the speeches.
