Britain's 'perfect girl' weds. Twenty thousand people packed Cathedral Square, Glasgow, when Miss Prunella Stack, aged 22, leader of the Women's League for Health and Beauty, was married to Lord David Douglas-Hamilton, the youngest son of the Duke of Hamilton in October 1938. In the photo the bride and groom are toasting each other at the reception after the ceremony. Two young flower girls are in view The bride wears a veil and the bridegroom is in a Scottish outfit.
