Brian Anderson has installed video cameras gathering time lapse videos showing changes on Fox, Franz Joseph, Tasman and Brewster glaciers which not only transmit stunning visual evidence of the glaciers' retreat, but also provide important data to enable mathematical modelling to predict their futures. Brian talks to Kathryn Ryan about this, how a chance finding in a tramper's hut set him on the path to this career, and about the snow and ice conference in Methven, which he is just back from....
