Indian Pattern Brown Bess flintlock musket, formerly the property of Hongi Hika flintlock; muzzle-loading; 7/8 inch bore; brass tunnels for ramrod; brass trigger guard; oval brass escutcheon on wrist of butt markings: on lock: WARRANTED and etching of elephant on barrel: three manufacturer and proof mark missing parts: hammer and frissen missing; ramrod missing; sling swivels Patu iwi, the musket of Hongi Hika.
