Description

A supplier taking his milk to the Norsewood Co-operative Dairy Company in a horse-drawn scandi wagon. This wagon has number of milk cans in it and room for the driver. It is pulled by a grey horse (which is more likely to be a large pony). The wagon is made of wood, including the wheels, and is low sitting making it very stable. Scandinavian settlers based the wagons on wagons back home in Scandinavia. These wagons were unique to this area of New Zealand
