Description

This miniature monument was created to honour New Zealand and Polish soldiers who fell in the fight for common ideals in World War Two. It is made of aluminium and wood in an art deco style. The plate is inscribed, "For our freedom and yours, Tobruk, El Gazala, Monte Cassino", with a stylized Polish and New Zealand army emblem below.
