Description

A retouched portrait of Dr Walter Harsant and Mrs Ann Eliza Harsant. Dr Walter Harsant was Raglan's first medical officer. He transferred to Raglan in 1857 and served the district for 20 years, before leaving for retirement in Onehunga in 1878. They celebrated their diamond wedding in Onehunga in July 1896.
