Description

The old Post Office near the corner of State Highway 3 and Uruti Road. The second Post Office on the site, it opened in 1928 and was shut in 1988. In 2011 the building was moved from this location to 6 Uruti Road, opposite the Uruti School, to allow the New Zealand Transport Agency to realign the corner at the southern entrance to Uruti.
