Description

Image shows a horse-drawn hand-pumped fire engine built for Wanganui in 1878 and later passed on to Waverley, before being acquired by the Southward Motor Museum, at the 50 year Jubilee celebration and displays at Siverstream fire station. Information from the November 11 'Leader'. Man wearing helmet is Gary Sinclair and the horse was named Rio.
