This photo depicts the National Band of New Zealand established in 1953 for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Since its establishment this brass band has won worldwide acclaim performing at international events including the Edinburgh Festival, the New York World Fair, Los Angeles Country Fair, Canadian Exhibition, Expo 70 in Japan and three Commonwealth Games.
