Description

This poster was produced for the Wellington Unemployed Workers Union conference in 1981 and protests against rising unemployment in New Zealand. The image of the crowd is important to protest propaganda as it shows solidarity to a cause. In this poster, contemporary and past photographs of banner-holding crowds demonstrates strong continuity of protest imagery over time.
