This peg doll, made by 10 year old Nina Kluge, represents the popularity of ballet with New Zealand girls. Nina and her friend Jemima spend two days together making their pegs dolls. Great care and attention was taken over the best way to make their dolls and which fabrics to use. The doll was entered in a peg doll competition organised by 'Small Acorns' a homeware and design store. It is part of a group chosen to reflect the interests of New Zealand children in 2011.
