Description

This is part of a group of objects associated a dental nurse during her training in 1960. Each first year student had a ring of teeth and out of a piece of wax or soap the student carved an exact replica of a tooth on the ring. It had to be exactly enlarged from life-size,so dividers (calipers) were used to calculate this. Theexercise taught dental anatomy while enhancing manual dexterity and focus on the minute detail.
