A rare rain cape in Britain’s Royal Botanic Gardens Kew is made from leaves of tikumu (mountain daisy, Celmisia species) and harakeke fibres. Only two other tikumu cloaks in museum collections are known to today, both in Canterbury Museum, New Zealand.
