Description

This tie ring consists of seven tiny cameos joined together on a metal band. Each of the cameos is supposed to represent a prayer – one for each day of the week. The ring was obtained by Dunedin barrister Douglas MacDonald from a man who found it on a North Island battlefield. It was said to have belonged to Gustavus Ferdinand von Tempsky.
