Description

This badge called for New Zealanders to boycott French products because of oppressive French rule in New Caledonia (Kanaky) and Tahiti and nuclear testing at Moruroa. The badge was part of a campaign called 'Quittez Le Pacifique!' which called for France to withdraw from its Pacific territories so that the indigenous peoples could reclaim their economic and political independence and become nuclear-free.
