Irene van Dyk used to be a famous netball player in the silver ferns.
The Silver Ferns shooter, Irene van Dyk, has joined the Pulse netball franchise for next season's ANZ Championship. The Wellington based Van Dyk has played for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty.
The prolific shooter, whose international career spanned 20 years, picked up the award at a ceremony which was fittingly held at the TSB Arena in Wellington one of the pules home venues.
