Description

Terry Rawhiti and 'Greytown' Jack Barr fencing in one of the front paddocks at 'Beresford' near Kakanui, southern Kaipara. Looking northeast towards the Araparera hills (between Kakanui and Glorit) in the background. 'Beresford' was owned by John Manson Barr. Terry Rawhiti lived locally. 'Greytown' Jack was a cousin of John Barr's wife Grace, whose maiden name was also Barr.
