Windmill built by Dorothy Cox's father, Mr Triner, at 123 Stanley Road.The photo looks across to where Glenfield College is now. Historical note: In 1948 Mr and Mrs Triner had swapped their Birkenhead property for these 7 acres with house and farmed dairy cows. Noel Cox married Dorothy Triner in 1950 and bought the property from his in-laws. He already owned the adjacent land which later became Glenfield College.
