Description

An unidentified man wearing a fedora, sports jacket and white trousers, stands at the water's edge in Winstone's Cove, Torbay. Pohutukawa trees line the shore and a wooden ladder from the rock ledge provides access to the cove. The cove is strewn with seaweed. Historical note: The names of the tracks leading from Winstone's Cove were Revenue Run and Moonshine Run indicative of the early settler's illegal wine making and moonshining.
